A recent phishing attempt sent to many UGA MyID accounts looks like it comes from ugahelpdesk@uga.edu. This is a fradulent email and a "phishing" attempt. The reply-to goes to a gmail account. Please DO NOT respond to these types of emails that ask for passwords and other sensitive information. It is best to simply delete these types of messages. EITS will not ask you to send your password via email. Information such as passwords, date of birth, and other sensitive information should not be sent to anyone via email. If you think you have mistakenly replied or sent sensitive information to a phishing email, change your password immediately at the MyID home page.
